Itinerary
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, You will be met by our chauffer and transfer to Kandy (Approximately 3.30hrs). On the way visits spice garden in Mawanella.
While on your Kandy city tour you will visit one of the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of tooth Relic known to the Sri Lankans as Dalada Maligawa. Then you will be dropped off by Kandy Lake where you can enjoy a leisure walk around Kandy Lake.
The real evidence of the richness will be affirmed by your visit to the Gem Museum.
Sri Lanka produces the finest quality of gems in the world. Semi-precious gems, the sapphires of Sri Lanka, which are very exclusive and comes in shades of blue, red, green, white etc.
In the evening you will witness a traditional cultural dance show.

Depart Kandy and proceed to Mahiyanganaya. Visit Mahiyangana Raja Maha Vihara
Mahiyangana Raja Maha Vihara is an ancient Buddhist temple in Mahiyangana, Sri Lanka. It is believed to be the site of Gautama Buddha’s first visit to the country, and is one of the Solosmasthana; the 16 sacred religious locations in Sri Lanka.
According to legend Prince Saman of the Deva tribe requested the Buddha for a token of presence that could be held high in reverence; thus he was granted a curl of hair from the Buddha’s head. The Prince enshrined the hair relic in the ancient Mahiyangana Stupa. Thus Mahiyangana became the first ever Stupa to be built in Sri Lanka.
The temple of Mahiyangana is a must visit as it boasts of a rich religious and cultural heritage and you can be a part of the rituals and practices carried out by the folk of the surrounding villages.

Depart Badulla and board the train bound for Ella. Enjoying the Scenic drive through Misty Mountains and Lush Green Tea Plantations, your driver guide will meet you at Ella Railway station and drop you at your hotel in Ella.
Ella, is a gorgeous little mountainous town with a hip culture offering some jaw-dropping views.
Take a walk to see Ella’s famous Ravana Falls and Nine Arch Bridge. The waterfall measures approximately 25 meters in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. During the wet season, the waterfall turns into what is said to resemble an areca flower with withering petals.

Today’s train journey is approximately 1 hours. Train tickets from Badulla to Ella are in very high demand, especially over high season (December - April, and August). While we always try our best to secure tickets, on the rare occasion that we cannot you will be provided with a private vehicle.

After breakfast proceed to Udawalawe. Visit to Elephant Transit home in Udawalawe.
The Udawalawe Elephant Transfer Home is a facility within Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka that was established in 1995 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation. Its primary objective is to rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves for ultimate release back into the wild.Thereafter, make your way to the Yala.
Evening optional visit to Udawalawe National Park. Udawalawe National Park lies on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces, in Sri Lanka. The national park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir.

Galle is a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It’s known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip.
Proceed to Colombo. Enjoy the panoramic city tour of Colombo
You may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square.
